What is the difference between liberation and freedom

The dictionary meaning of the word- Freedom is given as ' the condition of not being in prison or captivity ' or ' the condition of being free of restraints, especially the ability to act without control or interference by another or by circumstance '.

Imagine your registrar or dean has locked you in a room say for your safety and security in certain circumstances. So later when you are freed, you get freedom. Independence on the other hand has been defined as ' the state or quality of being independent. So the chairman of your organizations desires you to be under their control and get influenced by their opinions and act accordingly.

Let us encourage each other in sharing knowledge. It also means being free from some restrictions imposed by an authority. Hence if I try and make a sentence using these, I think I can say something like this: We all have liberty to enjoy 'freedom of speech'. But its our ethical responsibility to express our independent thoughts in such a way that it does not hurt individual feelings. I think we need more discussion on those words.

Although the formation of the Constituent Assembly with the representatives elected in the pre-independence time is itself not rare Indian Constituent Assembly was also formed with the representatives elected in the British period , the overwhelming majority of the Awami League in the election of meant that the assembly was dominated by the party that emerged as the leader of the independence war.

Yet, if we revisit the debates that took place over the Constitution draft, it becomes rather apparent that the proceedings had been marked by intense contentions. Two non-Awami League members of the Assembly - Suranjit Sengupta who later joined the AL and Manabendra Narayan Larma - repeatedly raised crucial objections, forcing the Awami League leaders to clarify and defend the founding principles and other central aspects of the Constitution.

One recurring aspect of the debate unfolded around the question of janamat, or public opinion. Sengupta urged for the participation of parties and groups outside of the Parliament in the debate over the Constitution bill. By referring to the long history of liberation struggle, the AL leaders, in reply, maintained that the people have already spoken through the revolutionary war. To seek vindication again for what has already been said by the people that fought the war would imply doubt over the very authenticity of the revolution.

This is indeed a problem that all constitutions that were preceded by revolutionary war face, for the very sovereignty of the Constituent Assembly is assumed in the name of the already accomplished revolution. To re-read the Constituent Assembly debate after the long span of 44 years is to encounter the striking clarity that it had regarding issues such as secularism. That the State must treat its citizens equally irrespective of religious identities - a principle that cannot be achieved unless the state itself is religiously neutral - was not a matter of contention for the Constituent Assembly.

And this was not because the Assembly was mostly comprised of Awami League leaders; there was no confusion over the validity of these issues precisely for the reason that the Liberation War itself embodied the principle of secularism in the eyes of the Constituent Assembly members.

For example, to be born or not has never been up to humans and is not so. After the human was born, even at the first moment, he is indigent to nature and its creatures. He needs to be protected, to be fed, to be taken care of and to be brought up.

There are death and decay in a country lacking freedom. The mother of development and liberation is freedom. No matter how urgent the crises, those emerged from freedom are safer than under the fake security that the strong oppression provides.

The concept of freedom Has always enjoyed a very good reputation. Through this concept is indicated the faculty of every man to choose to act in one way or another. On the other hand, debauchery has been a concept linked to excesses. Some authors label debauchery as one of the concepts most contrary to the concept of freedom, even more than the concept of slavery. While the dictionary of rae speaks of freedom as a natural faculty for choosing action, it defines debauchery as a debauchery in the act itself.

In this sense some authors refer to debauchery as the perdition of freedom, because it is the corruption of an innate faculty.
