I must be an idiot or something, because I just can't beat the Destroyer. I've got buffs ironskin, thorns, well fed , heart lamps, a legendary cutlass, orichalcum armor melee , and healing potions.

You need a huge dug out of the ground arena like x or so hole cause it restricts his movements with levels to jump between and a orichalcum repeater and some crystal arrows or ichor arrows.
